Darwin and Legs finally leave Waynesboro after food poisoning. They enter the easy, and well stocked, but sodden, Shenandoah National Park. To catch their tramily, 20 mile days are ahead!
Darwin and Legs try their hand at slack packing, and ponder the question, “How many times can you sweat through your shirt in a day?” The last of the Virginia Highlands are coming to an end, and so are the big climbs. Only the Priest, and Three Ridges remain. There’s rain, there’s heat, there are 20 mile days. It’s the Appalachian Trail!
After some incredible trail magic involving a red convertible, Darwin & Legs continue north. Flooded creeks, extreme heat, and the Guillotine join them as they add 57 miles to their 2,190.3 mile goal!
Watch the epic adventure of a lifetime staring Darwin, Legs, and their Tramily!
Darwin and Legs get rained on! They also enjoy verdant fields, and epic moments on the Appalachian Trail!
